Kadina High School has a proud history of achievement.

We continually aim to provide quality education to develop the individual talents, interests and abilities of our students to give them the capability and confidence to succeed in the 21st century.

We are a co-educational, comprehensive high school, seeking always to provide our students with the opportunities to acquire the knowledge, understanding, skills and values for productive and rewarding lives.

In 2012 our new facilities relating to the Trade Training Centre became fully operational. This included an upgrade of several million dollars to both Hospitality and Metals. The school gymnasium funded through the Premier Sporting grants was also been completed and is fully operational. Students and their parents have many expectations of education. It is our aim to fulfill these expectations. These facilities continue to give our students new and exciting experiences.

In term four, 2012, an additional seven Interactive white boards were installed across key learning areas.

During the 2012 Christmas holidays a covered outdoor learning area was constructed against the art classrooms allowing additional outdoor covered learning areas for both art classes and SVET classes.

In late 2012 the Kadina High School learning community participated in the building our capacity initiative. Further information can be found at http://www.buildingourcapacity.com.au/.

We have a strong, supportive student welfare and discipline system.
We have caring, experienced and well-qualified teachers, who are committed to encouraging personal excellence.

We are committed to:-

•Ensuring that quality learning and teaching are the central focus of every classroom.
•Ensuring that students have appropriate information and communication technologies skills to meet their educational and vocational needs.
•Providing a safe, secure, disciplined and quality learning environment.
•Involving parents, caregivers and the local community in all aspects of the school.
•Offering breadth of curriculum through our involvement in the Lismore Community of Secondary Schools. In 2013 this means aligning school bell times with the two other local high schools. Further information on bell times can be found in the news section of the school website.
